I liked "A Pirate's Love" a lot more better then Captive Bride, since Bettina's and Tristan's relationship was more amusing, and Christina's and Phillip's relationship was more.ah. He spanks her at one point, and then he hugs and comforts her. It's not as if I didn't enjoy the book, but there were some parts in the book where I thought Phillip was being cruel. Her wish to escape from his hands continues to fail, and gradually she realizes that she is beginning to love him.ĭxKx's Review: I have been wanting to read this book for a while now, and I must say that I'm am slightly disappointed by it. Christina is now to be his slave, and though her fiery personality refuses his every demand, her body betrays her as Phillip pleasures her during the night. In Arabia, Philip Caxton no longer exists, and his name is known as Sheik Abu. Determined to have her, he kidnaps her at midnight and takes her to his camp in Arabia. He offers her hand in marriage, but she refuses because of his arrogance and enigmatic personality. He has been known to have little interest in women, but when he sets his eyes upon Christina, everything changes.
